REGISTRATION FEE: 

An annual Registration Fee of $25 will be applied to your account during initial class enrollment or registration.  This fee helps to cover our many administrative and computer systems expenses.  This fee helps SDA keep our tuition costs in check. The Registration Fee is posted once a dance school year and is not refundable. 


PERFORMANCE FEE:

Winter and Spring performance fee will be $30 each semester per family.

  

CLASS TUITION AND BILLING: 

.  Class tuition is posted on the 1st of each month and a statement is emailed.  All tuition is due on the 5th of the month.  Parents can pay through the Parent Portal before the 5th, otherwise tuition will be processed using the payment method on file. 

.  Tuition is not prorated due to absences and whether it is a long, five-week month or a short, three-week month. 

.  Tuition is currently prorated for the semester's beginning and ending months, if that month is not a 4 week class month. 

ESA:

Starting Summer / Fall 2024 we will only be accepting ESA payments for the entire Semester at a time. Not month by month. Refunds are possible should you drop mid semester

MAKE UP CLASS:

Students have 1 month to make up for missing a class/es due to illness.

Please inquire the best class for your child and we will gladly get back with you. 

Each Semester is allotted 1 weather day, w/o make up.

 

CLASS DROPS AND CHANGES: 

All class change and drop requests must be in an email with the Subject Line: CHANGE/DROP REQUEST.  Your account will continue to be charged for tuition until the drop or change request email has been received. 

 

STUDIO, CLASS AND FELLOW DANCER RESPECT: 

. Students should be dressed and prepared for class before it starts. 

. No street shoes should be worn in the studios (unless in hip-hop).

. No food or drinks, except water are allowed in the dance studios. 

. Parents should not leave young students unattended. 

. Chewing gum is never allowed in the dance studios

. Always treat your teacher and fellow classmates with respect.

 

COMMUNICATION, EMAILS:

SDA sends out emails throughout the year with important dates, events and class details,  If you are new to us then please check your Spam or Trash email boxes - let us know and we will work with you to ensure you are receiving our emails properly.

 

TALK TO US IF YOU NEED ANYTHING: 

We are available when you need us. 

  

ATTENDANCE: 

Good attendance is very important, absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class. Students should be prompt and prepared for class. We may remove dancers from the show who are excessively absent from class within the 60 days prior to performance. Any absence in the week leading up to the performance may result in that dancer not being able to perform. 

 

WATER/BEVERAGES:

Students are required to bring a water bottle with a secure lid to class. 

 

INSURANCE: 

Sedona Dance Academy requires that all students be covered by their own family insurance policy. If an injury occurs it is understood that the student's own policy is your only source of reimbursement. Refer to SDA's Policies that you signed for clarification.
